A day of glory that could right-side-up our world
Mark 10:32-45
Big Idea
We’ve gotten Jesus’ glory all wrong. Getting it right is the secret to fixing our souls. Getting it right is the secret to finally having the life-giving relationships we’ve mostly given up on.
Questions
- If God (the Trinity) has never existed outside of relationship, does that change how important relationships are to you?
- When you think about Jesus' sacrifice, do you think about how strong he is? Or about how weak he is?
- If God's glory is shown most clearly in his weakness and dependence, rather than in his might and strength, what does that change for you?
- Why does it seem harder to say, "I will share my life with you" than it is to say, "I would die for you?"
- What can you change this week to show more weakness in love for your friends?
