Why I’m sure about “radically inclusive hope”

Here’s why we’re sure about “radically inclusive hope.” And here’s how we might even be able to turn it into a lived reality.

Ephesians 2:11-22

Big Idea

  • The cross not only made peace between us and God, it obliterated the walls between us and one another.
  • The book of Acts shows repeated instances of the church becoming more and more inclusive, following the direction of God.
  • Jesus abolished the law. Anyting that makes outsiders has to go.

Discussion

  • What does the cross have to do with my relationship with you?
  • Do you think that God actually loves his enemies?
  • Are there barriers to God? Or is it only acceptance and embrace?
  • Who do you see as an outsider that you need to embrace?
