This song has helped me realize something important: we need to able to see. These lines are particularly moving:

Don't let the night become the day
Don't take the darkness to the grave

I know the fight is on the way
When the sides have been chosen

Jesus says that unless something supernatural happens to us, we won't be able to see (John 3:3). And those of us who have begun to see, we need our eyes further opened. I want to keep my eyes open, because I want to see. Lord, have mercy!
