What’s the Baptism Process?
When we baptize someone, we do so based on their faith in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Since faith gives life, we want you to believe well. So one of the first things we do is read through our statement of faith together with you. If there are things you don't yet understand, that's ok. We'll happily help you. You can read and pray through it here.
Baptism is a big deal and our ceremonies are big celebrations for the entire church. Angels in heaven party when people repent and come to Jesus, so we do too. You're joining God's family, our family, and we couldn't be happier.
During the ceremony, we spend a few minutes telling the story of each person being baptized. We'll have you write that story up, and then either you can read it or one of us can read it for you. Your choice.
